What is the difference between 3 zones thermal shock chamber and 2 zones thermal shock chamber?

Two zones thermal shock chamber only has two zones----high temperature zone and low temperature zone, and no test zone. Its "test zone" is a hanging basket, which loads test samples and moves between the high temperature zone and low temperature zone. Conversion time is only 15 seconds. Can better simulate instantaneous temperature conversion impact. After the hanging basket is converted to one temperature zone, the hanging basket carries the energy of another temperature zone before the conversion. Therefore, the control system will start heating or cooling to increase the amount of heat or cooling. Let the temperature stabilize. When both zones have been charged and the door is closed. Theoretically speaking, the two zones thermal shock chamber cannot perform room temperature shock. But there is also a workaround, that is, the door of the temperature zone where the hanging basket is located is manually opened, and then the controller sets the timing according to the standard to complete the normal temperature impact.


There are three areas----high temperature area, low temperature area and test area for 3 zones thermal shock chamber. The sample is placed in the test area and cannot be moved. To do high-temperature impact, open the circulating air ducts in the high-temperature zone and the test zone, and close the others; to do the low-temperature impact, open the circulating air ducts in the low-temperature zone and the test zone, and close the others. Just after high temperature shock, you must go through a period of normal temperature shock, that is, you must first close the air duct doors in the high temperature zone and the test zone, open the air ducts in the test zone and outside the chamber, and pull one out and the other in. After the temperature is stable, if a complete normal temperature shock is required, the temperature should be kept constant for a period of time. If it is not necessary to do a complete normal temperature impact, immediately close the air ducts in the test area and outside the chamber, and then open the air ducts in the low temperature area and test area to perform low temperature impact. Vice versa, the same is true. Therefore, in the three zones type hot and cold shock chamber, between the high and low temperature shocks, there must be a transition section where the hot air or cold air reaches normal temperature first. Samples can be subjected to room temperature impact without opening the door. But the two-box type does not need to go through this transition, the conversion time is faster, the temperature difference of the impact can be larger, the uniformity is better, and the stabilization time is shorter. Just because the hanging basket is constantly switching between hot and cold environments, the entire transmission system also experiences the test of hot and cold environments, and its lifespan is shorter than that of the three zone type.
